Newly received research grants
In December, the long-awaited results of the projects submitted to the standard call of the Grant Agency of the Czech Republic (GAČR) and the 6th public call of the TREND program were announced. The project of Assoc. Prof. Pavel Souček "Ab-initio guided investigation of refractory metal-based high entropy ceramic coatings" will be supported by GAČR. Two of our projects were successful in the TREND program. The project of Assoc. Prof. Pavel Souček "Research and development of thin film metallic glasses and technology for their industrial deposition with use in Hi-tech industries," which will be realized with SHM company and Palacký University Olomouc. The second one is Prof. Petr Vašina's project, "Thin-film strain gauge with high sensitivity and durability prepared by magnetron sputtering," realized in cooperation with HVM Plasma, the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen and the Institute of Physics of Czech Academy of Sciences.
