Article On direct-current magnetron sputtering at industrial conditions with high ionization fraction of sputtered species was published in Surface and Coatings Technology. Two magnetron sputtering technologies, conventional DCMS and F-MS, are compared in industrial conditions. These techniques are compared based on ionized metal flux fractions measured for the first time using an ion meter in an industrial deposition chamber.
